Every head of hair is unique, so many services are custom quoted. Starting prices are listed above, and an exact quote and appointment time will be provided during your consultation before any service begins.

What to Expect

For most appointments, your consultation happens right at the start of your visit. We'll go over your hair history and current condition, any inspiration photos you'd like to bring, your goals, and what's realistically achievable, so we're aligned before any work begins.

For larger transformations or corrective color, a separate consultation may be recommended beforehand to properly evaluate your hair first.

A few things to keep in mind before your appointment:

  • Bring inspiration photos if you have a specific look in mind
  • Fragrance sensitivities or preferred styling products, let us know ahead of time
  • Larger transformations can take 7-8 hours, for longer appointments, feel free to bring food or discuss options in advance

What professional hair products do you use?
I use professional salon-quality products, including brands such as Redken, L’Oréal Professionnel, Keratin Complex, and other products selected specifically for your hair type, condition, and desired result.
How long will my appointment take?
Appointment times vary depending on your hair, service, and desired result. Color transformations, blonding, corrective color, and keratin treatments may require several hours. I never like to rush the process, so please plan accordingly and allow yourself enough time to relax and enjoy your appointment.
Do I need a consultation before booking?
For major color changes, corrective color, or if you are unsure which service to book, a consultation is highly recommended. This gives us a chance to discuss your hair history, goals, maintenance, timing, and what is realistically achievable.
Should I come with clean or dirty hair?
For most services, arriving with clean, dry hair is best unless I tell you otherwise. Please avoid heavy oils, dry shampoo, root sprays, or excessive product buildup before your appointment, as these can sometimes interfere with color and other chemical services.
How much will my service cost?
Pricing depends on the service, amount and length of hair, product needed, and complexity of your desired look. Your final price may vary from the starting price listed when booking, especially for color transformations or services requiring additional product.
How often should I maintain my color or keratin treatment?
Maintenance is different for everyone. Your schedule will depend on your hair growth, color choice, hair condition, lifestyle, and the service you receive. I’ll recommend a personalized maintenance schedule during your appointment so you know exactly when you should return.
What if I’m not sure what color or style would look best on me?
That’s completely okay! You don’t have to have everything figured out before you arrive. Bring inspiration photos if you have them, and we can talk about your skin tone, hair texture, lifestyle, maintenance preferences, and what will work best for you.

Color CutOutz Hair Studio is located inside Phenix Salon Suites in Clark, New Jersey, Suite 803. I work in a private salon suite, giving you a comfortable and personalized one-on-one salon experience.
